Future perspective

Current research will continue to improve both the application of the KLIK portal in clinical practice and the functionality of the portal. The eventual goal is to have as many children, parents and adult patients benefit from the KLIK portal and thus monitor the functioning of children and their families, and discover and discuss problems at an early stage.

After prof. dr. Martha Grootenhuis moved from the Emma Children´s Hospital Amsterdam UMC to the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology in Utrecht in 2018, the research is being continued from both research groups; Emma Children’s Hospital Amsterdam UMC (led by dr. Lotte Haverman) and Princess Máxima Center in Utrecht (led by prof. dr. Martha Grootenhuis). The rights to the KLIK portal are in hands of the Amsterdam UMC, where the KLIK portal was initially founded by prof. dr. Martha Grootenhuis.
